Denise (now Moira Rose) was one of a litter of three mini aussiedoodles that we took into care. All three littermates were born with this double merle coloring. The double merle coloring comes into play with unethical breeding practices and often leads to birth defects. Denise, Kermit and Pigathia were all born deaf. She's been adopted for over a year now and is living her best life! Her family said:

"Moira is a loving and rambunctious aussiedoodle. She loves to play ball and “cuddle” with her cat sister. Her favorite foods include cucumber, blueberries, and the occasional cheese tax. We are so grateful to North Paw for introducing us to our furever fur baby!"

"We had just bought a home with a big backyard for our three-year-old Corgi to play in and decided she needed a new best friend. We reached out to North Paw Rescue when we saw they had a corgi available, who ended up going to a different home. About a week later we found out they had another corgi coming to them and we jumped at the chance to meet her.

Pepper was a very nervous girl at first. She didn’t make a peep and kept a watchful eye on everyone and everything. She slowly started to warm up to the whole family. After a few months adjusting to us and the other people and pets in our lives, she has become a playful pup who loves tug of war with her sister and giving us a small bark when she wants more pets.

"When we stumbled across Kronk’s profile we KNEW we had to apply. What we didn’t know is how perfectly he would fit in our family and how much love was packed into every one of those wrinkles! Kronk is the sweetest snuggliest boy and he loves SO HARD! Kronk is thriving in his home and learning several signs. “Treat treat” is most definitely his favorite sign. Kronk is incredibly playful and spends his days playing with his new puppy brother who is vision and hearing impaired. Kronk forms a bond with everyone he meets and LOVES to be hugged and get a quick massage on his velvety soft ears. We are so grateful for North Paw Rescue and the chance to love on this sweet boy."

"We were not planning to add a new dog to our family so quickly after our beloved Finn had passed. But a friend sent us a link to North Paw Rescue, and there was Cooper. We decided to fill out an application, agreeing we could say no if it did not feel right when we met him. Ha! Cooper had us at hello.
Cooper is so lovable, social and smart. Always up for a new adventure, he is incredibly easygoing and fun-loving everywhere we go. He has a kind soul and a big heart.

"We instantly knew she was made for us just by looking at her pictures. We already had a 6 year old Golden Retriever and knew we needed another baby to love.

Nala was the shyest little girl at first who barely wanted us to be around her. After a couple days she started warming up to us and getting up to greet us when we got home. Now she’s the definition of a spoiled puppy. With only 3 legs she struggles to go down our stairs, so every morning starts with a princess escort down the stairs, play time outside with her big brother and lots of pets and snuggles. Nights end with her cuddled in bed with us and her big brother licking and nudging us to make sure she gets every pet she can.

She has been such a blessing to our family and now we don’t know what we would ever do with her. We are so grateful to North Paw Rescue for introducing us to this little girl."
